An Important Announcement
re: The Crabtree & Tussie Brochures

Well - we did it!! - almost 100 Crabtree brochures all packaged neatly with a couple of newsletters too - we got there after 2 years!!! I can’t believe it, I just can’t.

Now - there were quite a few E-mail enquiries about these brochures too. So - if you do not receive your pre - ordered brochure by the middle of this week and you haven’t received an E-mail from me asking if you still require one and of course would still like one - please get in touch. But I think I included everyone. I will do the same with the Tussie

So - with the Crabtree brochure out of the way now - we are working totally on the Tussies before we begin revamping the three main brochures.

The Tussie, I have been working on for months now behind the scenes, the text is about there and we have printed all the covers, order forms, covering letters and some of the pages already. We have also cut and packaged lots of samples but still lots to do with 100 brochures to initially make and many samples in each - you can do the maths. So, in between writing, projects, orders, reader offers - news coming soon about a lovely ‘Shu Shu’ range of accessories for DHMS which goes on sale 22nd of this month (July) we are pretty busy. Not taking a holiday this year - still attending hospital which disrupts the week so we’ll plod on with things.
Thank you so much once again for your patience and understanding, don’t know how I’d have managed without it.

Just another little thing - some have been asking about the Perfume Co items - well, they are still in production, more news with the Crabtree brochures. They will have their own page on the website - for more info click here Your Wedding Invitation - I couldn’t upload a renamed page without uploading the entire website and all the pages are not ready yet - so I just put them on that page for now. Also news about our exclusive Susan Lee shoes which will replace Perri’s shoes on the Glass Slipper will also follow shortly - not enough hours in the day - so much to do - so little time.

Regency Elegance
The July issue 193 of DHMS - ON SALE NOW and continuing for a further two issues: August 194 & September 195  features our Regency bride and her accessories. Oct & Nov issues to feature a splendid crinoline and cage project which takes us up to dare I say it - the Christmas issues and my grand finale:
A beautiful Georgian Cinderella.
A further project regarding the posing of figures on a horse, a chair and a bed is also planned.  I hope you enjoy building up this exciting collection. I have chosen the methodology with great care in order to promote a clear and logical progression of skills.

Starlight Starbright
The first star I see tonight
I wish I may
I wish I might
Have the wish I wish tonight.

Do you still wish upon a star? I do thanks to the magic of Walt Disney which I grew up with and have never forgotten.

If you stop believing.................well, isn’t that kind of boring?

You don’t stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing. Besides - the fantasy world is so much nicer than the real one.

FaerieGlobe

Recently I bought the special Platinum edition of The Sleeping Beauty. After the movie I just couldn’t settle.  This is the Disney magic I find so inspiring. I was ‘singing’ ‘Once Upon a Dream’ well into the early hours of the morning. Oh how I wish I had just a tiny little bit of that magic in me. I often think to myself what I would say to the great man himself if I could have a conversation with him. I wonder if he had the slightest idea how much he achieved for people like me all around the world perhaps for eternity - who knows how long it would last. He was a very great man indeed. To make a difference is the greatest gift. Anyway - back to the real world.

It has taken me almost a year to get back to where I want to be at the cottage. But that year was such a period of personal growth and understanding in which I learnt so much about people and myself. Today - another lovely message from a customer made me smile again. I remember these days - doesn’t seem so long ago.

Dedicated to Women Everywhere
and to hubbies and partners who sometimes have to step in when life dictates otherwise as my hubby now has to do most things around the home.

Mum and Dad were watching TV when

Mum said, "I'm tired, and it's getting late. I think I'll go to bed."

First she went to the kitchen to make sandwiches for the next day's lunches.

She rinsed out the popcorn bowls, took meat out of the freezer for supper the following evening, checked the cereal box levels,

filled the sugar container, put spoons and bowls on the table and started the coffee pot for brewing the next morning.

Then she put some wet clothes in the dryer, put a load of clothes into the washer, ironed a shirt and secured a loose button. She picked up the game pieces left on the table, put the phone back on

the charger and put the telephone book into the drawer. She yawned and stretched and headed for the bedroom. She stopped by the desk and wrote a note to the teacher, counted

out some cash for the excursion and pulled a text book out from hiding under the chair. She signed a birthday card for a friend, addressed and stamped the envelope and wrote a quick note for the

grocery store. She put both near her bag. Mum then washed her face with 3 in 1 cleanser, put on her Night Solution & age fighting moisturizer, brushed and flossed her teeth.

Dad called out, "I thought you were going to bed." "I'm on my way," she said. She put some water into the dog's dish and put the cat outside, then made sure the doors were locked and

the patio light was on.. She looked in on each of the kids and turned out their bedside lamps and radios, hung up a shirt, threw some dirty socks into the hamper, and had a brief conversation

with the one up still doing homework. In her own room, she set the alarm; laid out clothing for the next

day, straightened up the shoe rack . She added three things to her six most important things to do list. She said her prayers, and visualized the accomplishment of her goals.

About that time, Dad turned off the TV and announced to no one in particular. "Right - that’s me, I'm going to bed."

And he did... without another thought.

Anything extraordinary here? Wonder why women live longer...? CAUSE THEY ARE MADE FOR THE LONG HAUL......... and they can't die sooner because they still have things to do.......
