I fell in love with Swarovski crystals whilst writing my wedding book. The pure beauty of these crystals is breathtaking. I have resourced the following tiny crystals especially for fine miniatures.

I am especially delighted with my latest and special Swarovski clear crystal glitter which I requested exclusively for the cottage. Scroll down the page for more details. I can assure you , you will not be disappointed with this stunning special edition of the finest crystals.


	After much sourcing and searching to find the most suitable crystals when only the finest in the world will do, I have at last found the fountain of the most beautiful Swarovski crystals. I couldn’t believe they were so tiny. They have to be my best find ever and it was worth all the time I spent in communication with the head office in Austria which eventually led to a distributor here in the UK.

		A Rainbow of Colours


	I created these stunning miniature headdresses with pearly leaves, ostrich feather tips and a band of tiny Swarovski Crystallized Elements


	18 stunning colours to choose from in 2 sizes of pointed back - PP and 2 sizes of flat back - SS.

	Each of these 4 sizes of crystal has a foiled back which reflects light on it’s own. Each pack costs £8.25 for a 1/4 pack with approximately 360 pieces which will make several tiaras and trim the upper edge of two wedding bodices. 	More Crystal Magic

The clear crystals are also available with an unfoiled back and these are the crystals I use extensively for my gowns and the tiaras shown above. They don’t shine so brightly on their own as the foiled variety, but when the light catches them they are simply stunning. These crystals are available in two sizes - tiny and small or you can ask for a ‘Mixed Pack’ which has both sizes plus a few slightly larger crystals. £8.25 for a 1/4 pack

	Crystal Glitter

I am delighted to offer you exclusively at the cottage some tiny Swarovski clear crystal pieces. These were initially produced for us as a special request and I am striving to retain further supplies as Swarovski changes and moves with the time with their new packaging and Crystallized Element Trademark. We still have some stock as I purchased quite a lot, but the future is not certain although I am most hopeful I can continue to supply these tiny crystals. £14.25 1/2 pack £7.25 1/4 pack

1/2 pack is approx. 720 particles which will cover one square inch. Pepper the neckline of a miniature bridal gown and place it in the light, stand back and watch it shimmer - it is truly breathtaking. This is strictly for the connoisseur, beware it is most addictive.

On a final note, as I was hot on the Swarovski trail, I was just overwhelmed by the wealth of products available. There are approximately 80 colours of these beautiful crystals and beads and this is perhaps just the beginning. I have started with a range which I think will offer you the most inspiration for miniatures. Not all the colours are available in the smaller sizes so I had to bring you the most varied range possible. I hope you enjoy working with these wonderful crystals. For real dressmakers and miniature ones! - there are two kinds of flat back crystals - hot fix and non hot fix. The hot fix variety can be applied to fabrics with a special heat gun or iron - you CANNOT glue these on as the backing will react with the glue and the crystals will just fall off. Non hot fix crystals are best suited for miniature gowns.
