Fantastic photography was once again by husband and wife team Chrissie and Nigel of 2Tone photography. Their attention to detail is second to none and I recommend them wholeheartedly for capturing every minute of the day with such artistry and commitment. I am delighted I have been able to secure their services a third time - they are to create some wonderful images for my website and brochures later in the year. I can’t wait to watch them at work in close up.

Samantha chose beautiful peonies and milky white roses for her bouquet below, the adult bridesmaids right and small posy for the youngest bridesmaid above.

The theme running throughout the wedding was champagne and rose pink with subtle black highlights which I incorporated into almost four hundred pieces of handmade stationery, the wedding album and guest book and the decoration of the cake.

The champagne Duchess Satin gown with gold motifs and iridescent sequins and crystals

Sam’s beautiful champagne crystal studded shoes were stunning - but just in case the weather wasn’t kind - these wellingtons covered in rose pink and ivory roses would have been perfect

Michael the Groom ( Above left) and Best Man Mark collect the buttonholes whilst Cinders tries on the crystal studded slipper which fits perfectly of course.

I truly enjoyed making all the stationery: invitations, order of the day scrolls, place cards, menus, album, guest book and the starburst and rose cake decoration to coordinate with it. It was my first attempt at cake decoration apart from minis of course and I really enjoyed it all.

Time to dance the night away to a wonderful band and vocalist. I was just hours away from the ‘No More Wedding stage’ It was lovely to play such an important role in the weddings of my two daughter’s and their wonderful spouses, but oh so nice to breath again the following morning after almost eighteen months of planning, sewing, decorating and stationer to the happy couples.

It was another wonderful wedding, the first in a castle and the second in Derwent Country Manor (Left)

I couldn’t have wished for better son - in laws and I hope like all parents, they all have a wonderful time together.

And look who popped in for his first outing at only a week old. - Charlie our dear Grandson. He’s a real joy and didn’t make a sound all day. His mum the bridesmaid, did very well to fulfill her duties to her sister on this special day.
