I can take orders for similar items but not all can be repeated so if you really like something, it’s best to contact me for an immediate sale or a lay a way service where you can reserve an item and pay in installments.

		Venetian Splendour




	A city steeped in history, timeless elegance and mystery where eighteenth century masquerade balls were the passion and the romance, an aristocratic way of life indulgent in its splendour.

The first of my eighteenth century inspired gowns, and accessories. This elegant aristocratic couple are splendid in their eau de nil and pastel pink Thai silk and silk and gold brocade extravagant costumes, adorned with rich silk ribbon ruffles, buds and bows and Maline lace.
The sleeves (right) on the lady’s gown have two deep Maline lace flounces and frilled silk brocade cuffs with a silk ribbon bow trim and ruffles.


	Venetian Splendour Two beautifully dressed and highly ornate costumed dolls for the discerning collector. The lady is dressed by myself, Sue Jo and the gentleman by prestigious artisan Veronica Anne Pickup. Together we have created this very special couple for you. £525.00


	You can find out how to create Georgian gowns and panniers in my series of projects in current issues of Dolls House and Miniature Scene beginning March/April through to July and August of 2008. Also, more new designs and patterns will feature in my new book which I am busy writing and also my new brochure which will be available later in the year ‘ Venetian Rhapsody’.

Appearing soon will be the first of my new period dolls in fine costumes. The first will centre around the Edwardian period and feature some exquisite dolls cast from moulds by some of the most prestigious doll makers around the world. These are then painted by exclusive artists for the cottage and finally I step in and do the fun bit - the creation of the gowns, and, I have some really authentic yet truly Sue Jo designs for you. I will also be launching my first Edwardian hats and parasols which will be available to purchase separately.
